Sunset Thru Window
Sunset Thru Window by Alexandre Nodopaka

Made with dream.ai
Although Sir Nodopaka credits dream.ai in the making of this image, and indicated in Barzakh Magazine that the prompt he used for it was "sunset cliffs", as someone who has played extensively with dream.ai and various prompts, I happen to know that it does not produce a final result like this. It is my opinion that the artist used the AI output as a basis for this artwork, but that he layered on top of it. Knowing him as I do, having seen his work for twenty years and been inside his mind, there is no way he simply took an AI image and submitted it. He would absolutely have to play around with it and make it his own. I see a brilliant composite here and for the umpteenth time since I first lay eyes on Nodopaka's creations, I am filled with envy of his talent!
This has all the signs of his layering and composition skills. The way the bars of the so-called window, which is obviously a bed frame with metal bars, where you see one of the bars in the foreground and the other two set back, creating an illusion of being at an angle, while the top is straight across--it is so Nodopaka. The suggestion of a surf board. A touch of the sun at the bottom. The elongated spectators gathered at the top.
He never ceases to surprise and amaze me. There are always so many details in his layers and compositions that catch the eye and stimulate the mind. ❦
